2021 Wrapped Up
It was a good year for Two Little Kits. My amount of orders increased a little, my pieces had good variations in what was needed to stitch, I had some new challenges requested and I pushed myself in improving the restrictions I was either given or I gave to myself.
I'm hoping 2022 keeps up this momentum! I've got a few pieces in the works currently and I can't wait to show them off both here and on my social media profiles. I'm also planning on catching up on some of last year's pieces right here on the blog (specifically the house piece! I can't believe I didn't write about that earlier!) so I hope you keep an eye out for those. They've been good for me to be able to use to reflect on how I did.

Details
I wanted to share some closer details of parts I am particularly pleased with and how they turned out. Apparently I have a lot more work to do when it comes to stitching men/boys… Sorry, guys!
I also didn't get many orders this year including pets, which is unfortunate. The one piece that has a pet, I am very pleased with how it turned out!
Let me know in the comments below, what detailed piece is your favourite!
Ordering your own
If you are thinking about ordering a portrait this year, I encourage you to get in touch sooner rather than later. Especially if it is a gift!
Cross-stitch and embroidery (but especially cross-stitch) is not a fast hobby. I've done a lot of posts over on Instagram about this if you're interested but basically, it is slow. So if you're wanting to order a gift that will blow someone away; like what you've seen in this post, I would love to chat with you!
