Custom Cross-stitch - Single Character Portrait
This listing is for one custom, hand stitched cross-stitch finished piece. You'll receive a finished portrait of a single character, which is perfect as a gift for numerous occasions or just as a piece for yourself in your own home!
Gift ideas are graduation, pet commemoration, announcements, housewarming present, birthday gift, new milestone or, you know, just because :)
Helpful info:
- An adult holding a baby (swaddled or in a carrier) only counts as one character
- A toddler/child/teen is classified as one character
- A pet (no matter what kind) is classified as one character. This includes things like horses, pigs, chickens, etc.
Embellishments:
Embellishments are 'extra' things on top of your stitch piece that aren't people/pets or the 2 lines of text. Examples of the levels offered are:
- Minor: A small, floral border around/above & below your piece, grass & flowers to stand on or a mascot/holiday icon (eg: Christmas tree).
- Major: A large item alongside the characters such as a car, house objects (eg: set in a room), trees or many minor objects.
- Extensive: A detailed background or many minor/major objects.
Every custom piece is hand stitched by myself to your specifications using beige 14ct (or 28ct depending on availability - will still be the same size) Aida cloth with DMC embroidery floss. Each piece is finished with a wooden embroidery hoop (and this can be changed to a frame for an additional charge).
